15th Annual Prospera Golf Classic

Heartfelt thanks to Prospera Credit Union for joining us under the yellow umbrella at the 15th Annual Prospera Golf Classic thanks to everyone who sponsored and participated to help raise $30,000 for our kids! Special thanks go out to Erin Bell and the organizing committee for making it such a great day!

 

Run, Walk & Roll for Our Kids 2010

Paralympic Torch Bearer John Cumberbirch

Physiotherapist John Cumberbirch of The Centre for Child Development showed his commitment to athletes of all abilities. John was a torch bearer at Riley Park on March 10th and was cheered on by several members of our staff who joined him under the yellow umbrella.

Thanks, John, for inspiring children and youth with developmental disabilities to reach their potential.

Heartfelt thanks for the toys you and your staff collected for the families of The Centre for Child Development. The staff here were very excited and happy to be able to pass on some Christmas joy to our families on your behalf. Within an hour of being back here with the wonderful toys and gift cards staff had organized gifts for 6 families. The rest of the parcels were sent out soon after.

 

Charity Gift Wrap Program

Thank you to Bentall LP, our volunteers and everyone who got their gifts wrapped for their generous support of our Charity Gift Wrap Centre!

A huge thanks goes out to the community for supporting the Charity Gift Wrap program at Willowbrook this past Christmas season. Over $12,400 was raised through gift wrapping services which will go directly towards funding for programs and services for children with special needs in Langley, Delta, Surrey and White Rock.

The Charity Gift Wrap program was a success thanks to the dedication of 75 volunteers, who wrapped a total of 3,421 gifts. More »

14th Annual Prospera Golf Classic

Your participation in the 14th Annual Prospera Golf Classic in support of The Centre for Child Development raised a grand total of $21,300!

Heartfelt thanks from both The Centre for Child Development and Prospera Credit Union and Insurance Agencies! Proceeds from this event will go directly toward more and better services for the kids.
